We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our Neurosciences team as a Sister/Charge Nurse on Ward R3. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and diverse outpatient Nurse-led service, providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team on Ward R3, ensuring the smooth running of Neurosurgical, Neurology, and Stroke clinics. They will also be responsible for the administration of intravenous medications for Neurology patients.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Neurosciences and/or an infusion service setting, with a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team on Ward R3, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective multidisciplinary care.
- Provide education and training to patients and staff on Neurosciences and infusion services.
- Contribute to the development of the ward's quality improvement initiatives.
