Key Responsibilities- Provide innovative, clinical, professional, and managerial leadership, ensuring the provision of high-quality, responsive services with the needs of the patient at the center of care.
- Maintain a visible presence where patients, staff, and visitors can turn for assistance and rely on you to ensure that the fundamental and specialist aspects of care are met.
- Support the Head of Nursing by leading and developing nurses and nursing practice.
- Be accountable for all clinical and non-clinical aspects of quality within the service.
- Current and relevant NMC registration
- First-level registered nurse
- Teaching and assessing qualification
- Degree in a health-related subject
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Management training
- Evidence of master's-level study
- Recent attendance on a leadership program
- Ophthalmology experience
