Channel Development Manager, UK, Ireland

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Development Manager to join our team at Herman Miller Limited. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our dealer network in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a network of existing dealer partners, including regular reviews and follow-up activities to increase MillerKnoll's share of wallet in a multi-brand market.
- Analyze new channels and opportunities to identify potential new dealer partners, and lead the appointment process, including preparation and signature of dealer agreements.
- Collect and analyze market and dealer partner feedback to inform continuous improvement and change management proposals.
- Work closely with Regional Directors, Sales Teams, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Commercial/Channel/Dealer Development role, with experience in managing indirect distribution/dealer relationships.
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to build rapport with different stakeholders, including dealer principals, dealer teams, and MK sales teams.
- Strong negotiator with a winning personality, experienced in managing channel conflict and mediation.
- High level of social competency, including the ability to listen, reflect, and make informed decisions.
- Analytical and process development savvy, with the ability to innovate and look for ways to improve internal and external client satisfaction.
- High level of energy and self-initiative to see tasks through from beginning to completion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows standard applications and ideally Salesforce.
- Prepared for regular business travel in the relevant geographic region.
- Proficient in English (writing and vocal) and relevant local language(s).
