Job Title: Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Waltham Forest CAMHS Community Team, based at Wood Street Health Centre, 6 Linford Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 3LA.

About the Role:

This is an established, substantive, full-time post - 10 Programmed Activities. The post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.

As a Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Waltham Forest. You will provide senior medical support and guidance to the team, work directly with children and young people and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team

  • Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:13, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement
Requirements:

Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies
