About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Account Manager to join our Insurance team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with key clients in the insurance industry.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring client satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. You will develop and execute account strategies, collaborate with internal teams, and proactively address client needs.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and growth objectives, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date account records and forecasting data in our CRM system.

You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our company's footprint within existing accounts, analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic account planning, and collaborating with sales teams on strategic sales planning.

As a Data Account Manager, you will interact regularly with customers to provide thought leadership, business expertise, guidance, and best practices to the organisation relating to your assigned market.

Requirements
  • Good understanding of the insurance industry and market trends, with experience working with vehicle data and understanding of its application within the insurance market.
  • Good knowledge of the UK distribution dynamics, including software houses and price comparison websites.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to collaborate and interact effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Exceptional relationship building and collaboration skills.
