About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Project Manager to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our Data Engineering service line, you will be responsible for overseeing Data Engineering projects and programmes across our Data transformation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead highly-skilled technical teams in a high-profile position, reporting to senior-level client stakeholders.
  • Understand customer and technical colleague needs, as well as the intrinsic challenges in delivering data projects, to run high-performance data engineering projects and programmes.
  • Own the team's overall output, manage relationships with demanding senior stakeholders, and meet challenging timescales.
  • Help shape the definition, development, and execution of our delivery standards and drive engineering excellence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality projects and programmes up to medium to large-sized accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of complex data-related projects end-to-end.
  • Experience in Agile or DataOps delivery, quality practices, techniques, and tools at all layers of data engineering.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to all levels and present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct medium-large-sized engineering delivery teams.
  • Ability to help define delivery management core processes and improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrated attentiveness to quality and productivity as outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing third-party relationships in the successful achievement of customer deliveries.
  • Ability to manage significant delivery budgets and minimize programme variances.
  • Strong ability to lead teams across multiple shores.
