Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Manager to join our team at Quick Staff UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our client's purchasing team, ensuring the timely delivery of projects and products to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Forecasting and Demand Planning: Utilize advanced analytical skills to deliver accurate demand forecasting, ensuring the company's product portfolio is optimized and OTIFNE (on time in full no errors) SLAs are met.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Monitor and manage data to improve stock availability, reduce overstocks, and maximize buying opportunities, creating synergies and improving commercials.
  3. Supplier Management: Understand the requirements of suppliers, including lead times, capabilities, sampling, pre-production processes, and shipping.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead the Production team, collaborating with colleagues to find creative solutions to supply and demand issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  5. Project Management: Engage with senior managers to ensure projects and products are delivered within specification, time, and budget requirements.
Requirements
  1. Commercial Acumen: Possess great commercial instincts, making informed and timely decisions.
  2. Demand Planning Experience: Experience in reviewing demand planning information and setting purchasing strategy.
  3. Communication and Team Management: Demonstrate excellent communication and team management skills.
  4. Attention to Detail: Possess a high attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering commercial insight.
  5. Analytical and Technical Skills: Highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel and Microsoft skills, and the ability to learn new systems.
  6. Full Driving License: Possess a full driving license.
