Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Paediatrician to join our dynamic team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Paediatric department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities

As a Locum Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and expertise in General Paediatrics and Neonatal Care
  • Working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participating in the development and implementation of our Paediatric services
  • Contributing to the education and training of our junior staff
  • Engaging with our patients and families to provide excellent care and support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
  • CCT Paediatrics or within 6 months of CCT or equivalent
  • On the GMC Specialist Register for Paediatrics
  • Broad training in General Paediatrics and Neonatal Care
  • Level 3 Neonatal Experience and Training
  • Training in developmental and community paediatrics appropriate for a General Paediatrician
  • Safeguarding training and experience
  • Up to date APLS/NLS
