Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent Medical Technical Officer to join our team of Scientists in the Histology Department.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the efficient running of specimen reception, cut up, and slide preparation areas.
  • Maintain stock levels and assist in the training of new members of staff in cut up, specimen reception, and slide preparation techniques.
  • Participate in the embedding and microtomy of routine histology blocks and megablocks.
About the Role

This is a key position within the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, working alongside an exceptional team to provide world-class care to our local communities.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 hours per week.
