Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the upkeep and repair of hearing devices, delivering immediate assistance to patients, and ensuring the efficient operation of our audiology services.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to acquire practical technical expertise, including programming digital hearing aids, customizing ear moulds, and performing otoscopy, all while positively impacting the lives of those with hearing difficulties. You will interact with a diverse group of individuals, including those with disabilities, cognitive impairments, or serious health conditions, making your role both demanding and profoundly fulfilling.

Main Responsibilities

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Perform routine assessments on hearing aid functionality.
  • Execute basic programming of replacement digital hearing aids as per audiologist specifications.
  • Modify the shape of patients' ear moulds using specialized equipment.
  • Fit new ear moulds as necessary.
  • Assist in the repair of In-the-ear hearing aids and bone-anchored hearing aids.
  • Manage the postal service for hearing aid maintenance and battery distribution.
  • Handle the sending, receiving, and storage of ear mould impressions and ear moulds.
  • Support the preparation of audiologist clinic schedules.
  • Travel to external clinic locations as required.
