We are seeking a Site Operations Manager to become a vital part of our Kier Group team. This role will involve overseeing operations within a significant redevelopment project.

Location : To be determined

Contract : Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in the Nuclear Major Projects team, facilitating the successful execution of the redevelopment initiative.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Ensuring that site activities are meticulously planned, coordinated, and executed in a secure, timely, and cost-effective manner, adhering to project specifications and timelines.
  • Managing both short-term and medium-term schedules to guarantee efficient and economical project completion.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in establishing effective planning methodologies and resource allocation for labor and equipment.
  • Collaborating with the General Foreman to ensure compliance with safety protocols and risk management strategies as outlined in Work Package Plans.
  • Supervising the General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors, and other designated personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

This position is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in a construction-related field or a Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management.
  • A valid Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
  • Completion of the Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
