About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our friendly and motivated team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As a Project Manager, you will have a role that's out of the ordinary, working on site-wide waste demand, governance, project integration, and technical support to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Management: Prepare a business case for approval, including a fully costed programme and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, resolving technical or conflicting project requirements.
  3. Budgeting and Cost Management: Prepare budget proposals, monitor costs, and prepare reports for accountability meetings.
  4. Contract Management: Develop Statements of Requirements, evaluate tender responses, and make recommendations for the selection of competent contractors.
Requirements
  1. Project Management Experience: Significant experience in a project management delivery environment.
  2. Organizational Skills: High level of organization, self-management, and ability to produce information and output reports.
  3. Technical Skills: Good knowledge of APM philosophy and advanced user of Microsoft Office suite of software.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. Education: HNC in an engineering subject or equivalent experience.
  2. APM Qualification: An appropriate APM qualification.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
