Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Band 7 Lead Nurse within our Pediatric Elective Care Unit.

You will oversee the operations of the Pediatric Elective Care Unit (PECU), which encompasses the Pediatric Outpatient Department and medical/surgical Day cases. Your role will involve providing clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team.

We seek a highly driven individual eager to enhance and lead nursing practices. You must be dynamic and passionate about guiding the clinical team to uphold best practices and maintain high standards of care consistently.

This is a part-time position, requiring collaboration with the current Lead Nurse.

  • Effectively manage and develop nursing personnel and services, delivering professional and managerial leadership in the provision of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care for children, families, and staff.
  • Inspire and foster staff development by creating an open, supportive, and encouraging environment where all team members feel valued and best practices thrive.
