Key Responsibilities:

As an essential part of the admin team, you'll handle a variety of tasks that are crucial to the smooth operation of the court. You will:

  • Correspondence and Communication: Deal with correspondence, preparing and drafting letters and emails with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Document Processing and Management: Handle the processing of applications and court documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to administrative procedures.
  • Customer Service: Manage incoming calls, providing assistance and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately input data into spreadsheets and court systems, maintaining meticulous records.
  • Court Fees and Financial Management: Ensure the accurate entry of court fees, verifying all financial data for correctness.
  • Remote Payments and Transactions: Assist with taking remote payments, handling transactions securely and efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Regularly interact with court users, judiciary members, legal professionals, and the public, ensuring effective communication and smooth processes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collate and analyse complex information, frequently using Excel to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with the preparation of routine documents and maintain orderly administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong Numerical Skills: Ability to accurately handle financial data and perform mathematical tasks.
  • Data Accuracy: Ability to accurately input financial data into spreadsheets, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and collaboration.
  • IT Skills: Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic IT applications, particularly Office 365.
  • Administrative Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable but not essential.
