Deaf Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to join our dynamic team in Tower Hamlets. This full-time role covers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and offers a competitive pay scale of £36,959 FTE, plus an additional SEN2 allowance of £3,774 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality education to deaf pupils, adapting and differentiating lessons to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive education strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues on deaf education best practices.
- Contribute to the development of deaf education policies and procedures.
- Support from Senior Leadership Team and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- A collaborative and supportive environment with other Teachers of the Deaf within Tower Hamlets.
- Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS), cycle to work scheme, and professional development programs.
- Allocated management time and the opportunity to work closely with QToDs across the Tower Hamlets borough.
