ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Lead Night Care Support Specialist at Barchester Healthcare Ltd, you will be responsible for addressing the diverse needs of our residents, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-focused care and assistance.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing and motivating a team of committed Care Assistants in collaboration with the Deputy General Manager.

Additionally, you will assist the clinical team in designated areas, such as medication management, assessments, care planning, or care evaluations.

In your role as a Lead Night Care Support Specialist, you will uphold the dignity and preferences of our residents while contributing to a warm, inviting, and dynamic environment.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the position of Lead Night Care Support Specialist, you should possess an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.

We also require demonstrable knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We seek individuals who are empathetic, kind-hearted, and dedicated to providing personalized care and support to each resident.

Many of our Lead Care Assistants transition into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.
