The Role: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Darlington. You will play a vital role in supporting an active young gentleman in his early twenties who enjoys physical activities, countryside walks, and independent time for watching YouTube videos.

Responsibilities:

  • Empowering Independence: Assist him in achieving his personal goals and living life on his own terms.
  • Daily Support: Provide practical assistance with medication administration, budgeting, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and encourage community engagement.
  • Behavioral Support: Work collaboratively with the Positive Behavior Support (PBS) teams to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

About Our Person:

We are looking for someone who is energetic, confident, and has good initiative. Previous experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism is preferred. A full UK driving licence for manual vehicles is essential.
