About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Support Workers at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in various activities tailored to the interests and needs of our service users, such as watching movies, listening to music, and engaging in playtime and sensory play.
  • Support evening or bedtime routines and remain alert and responsive to their care needs.
  • Carry out clinical interventions, including frequent observations, personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Personal Care.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for day shifts).
Desirable Skills
  • Epilepsy Care and Rescue Medication.
  • Spinal Injury Care.
  • Tracheostomy Care.
  • Oral suctioning.
  • Nebuliser Care.
  • Enteral Feeding.
  • Bowel Care.
Working Hours
  • Full Time & Part Time.
  • Days – 8am – 8pm / 8.30am – 10.30pm.
  • Nights – 10pm – 9.30am.
