About the Role:

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team in the Darlington area. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to our service users on a flexible relief basis, assisting them in maintaining their independence and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to service users, promoting their independence and confidence in daily living skills.
  • Assist service users in the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication, in accordance with our Medication Policy.
  • Enable service users to become as independent as possible, supporting them in areas such as personal care, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Support service users in maintaining the safety, security, and comfort of their homes.
  • Promote the self-esteem, happiness, and emotional health of service users.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of positive behaviour support is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
