The Role: Relief Support Worker
We are seeking an energetic and person-centered Relief Support Worker to provide exceptional care to our service users in the Darlington area. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, to achieve their goals and live independently.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized support to our service users on a flexible relief basis as required.
- Assist with the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication, adhering to established policies.
- Empower individuals to become more independent by fostering their confidence, competence, and personal effectiveness in areas such as personal care, social skills, daily living, and more.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our service users.
- Promote the self-esteem, happiness, and emotional well-being of individuals we support.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- A genuine understanding of positive behavior support is desirable, though training will be provided.
