About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with medication administration and management.
  • Support service users with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Engage in activities with service users, such as watching movies, listening to music, and participating in sensory play.
  • Assist with community outings, shopping trips, and park visits.
  • Provide support in educational settings, delivering essential clinical care while promoting development and learning.
  • Support evening or bedtime routines and remain alert and responsive to service users' care needs.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Personal Care.
  • Moving and Handling.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for day shifts).
Desirable Skills
  • Epilepsy Care and Rescue Medication.
  • Spinal Injury Care.
  • Tracheostomy Care.
  • Oral suctioning.
  • Nebuliser Care.
  • Enteral Feeding.
  • Bowel Care.
Working Hours
  • Full Time & Part Time.
  • Days – 8am – 8pm / 8.30am – 10.30pm.
  • Nights – 10pm – 9.30am.
