Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Regional Financial Control team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and supporting the organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop long-term financial strategies and conduct financial modelling to inform business decisions.
  • Transaction Management: Ensure accurate booking and reporting of transactions in line with policies, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform intercompany reconciliations and ensure Transfer Pricing compliance, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze cost spend and report variances to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for cost optimization.
  • Government Reporting: Assist with government reporting (e.g., HMRC VAT) and collaborate with Treasury on financial allocations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support Functions: Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development, providing financial expertise and guidance.
  • Training and Development: Provide financial training to non-financial managers, enhancing their understanding of financial concepts and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: Holding an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience in financial reporting.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting, including IFRS, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications, with experience in the financial sector preferred.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage workload and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
