ROLE OBJECTIVE
In light of the ongoing global expansion and achievements of the organization, a seasoned, qualified accountant (5+ years PQE) is sought to become a vital member of the Financial Reporting team. Key responsibilities will encompass a variety of accounting and oversight functions centered on international operations, ensuring adherence to regulations and addressing complex accounting standards as the organization ventures into new markets.
TEAM OVERVIEW
The Group Finance division at Addleshaw Goddard comprises experts from various fields including Financial Reporting, Taxation, Procurement, and more. The Financial Reporting team is instrumental in the preparation of financial documents, balance sheet analysis, and maintaining compliance throughout the organization.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
- Preparation and examination of statutory financial documents
- Monthly financial accounting and reporting
- Management of intercompany relationships
- Foreign currency accounting
- Participation in project initiatives and business collaboration
- Supervision of junior team members
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:
- Professional accounting qualification with a minimum of 5 years PQE
- Experience in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements
- Strong skills in audit management
- Proven ability to implement and maintain financial controls
- Effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Robust knowledge of IT systems
