ROLE OBJECTIVE
We are looking to enhance our Finance department by incorporating a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated accountant to take full responsibility for comprehensive financial accounting and reporting across various jurisdictions and accounting standards.
TEAM OVERVIEW
The Group Finance division is pivotal to the financial prosperity of our organization. It comprises experts from diverse fields, including Financial Control, Taxation, Procurement, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In the capacity of a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist, you will report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant and manage a variety of financial accounting tasks across multiple Group entities. Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of financial statements, overseeing audits, and enhancing controls and processes.
- Compile statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee audit processes and coordinate with auditors
- Assist in various accounting functions, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Engage in technical accounting initiatives
- Strengthen controls and compliance in financial reporting
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To excel in this position, you should be a certified accountant with a background in preparing statutory accounts, a keen eye for detail, and outstanding communication abilities. Furthermore, you should be adept at collaborating with individuals at all organizational levels and possess a solid understanding of IT systems.
