Credit and Financial Risk Management Specialist

At Lowell Financial Ltd, we're committed to making credit work better for all. As a Credit & Finance Risk Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting and contributing to the management and development of our financial risk and internal controls framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and action plans, working closely with various departments to ensure effective handling, resolution, and reporting.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and emerging risks, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Assist in the design, delivery, and monitoring of internal finance performance and financial reporting controls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
- Support the governance of finance data and reporting, engaging with senior stakeholders to drive improvements in the financial and operating control environment.
- Experience in financial risk management, internal controls, audit, or a related area.
- Understanding of risk management principles and internal control frameworks.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, as well as financial software and ERP systems.
- Skilled user of core Microsoft packages and experience with business intelligence principles.
- Ability to identify and address key risks/implications associated with any activities.
