Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Bibby Financial Services. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and profitability of our business by effectively managing our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure timely and efficient credit control, minimizing bad debt and maximizing cash flow.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze client financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities, making recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of credit control activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit control, financial risk management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in credit control software a plus.
