We are pleased to announce a part-time opportunity for an Administrative Support Specialist. This role involves providing essential administrative assistance to a dynamic team of Directorate-wide Allied Health Professional (AHP) Leads, as well as supporting the Senior Business Administrator to the Head of Nursing in the Department of Mental Health.
The successful candidate will work primarily at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit, utilizing a hybrid model that includes both office and remote work. Responsibilities will encompass managing schedules, organizing and participating in meetings, preparing agendas, accurately documenting minutes, and delivering comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to ensure the effective operation of the Directorate's management team.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing your workload to adapt to the evolving needs of the service.
- Maintaining both electronic and physical office systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Overseeing and monitoring workflow for both yourself and the team.
- Collaborating with colleagues in a calm and supportive manner, contributing positively to the wider administrative teams.
- Arranging meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes and action items, and managing data entry and spreadsheet creation.
- Handling equipment orders through various platforms and responding to telephone inquiries and written correspondence.
- Utilizing SystmOne for recording sensitive patient information and performing general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
