About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Defence Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes on major capital spend projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with NEC 3/4 contracts.
  • Manage financial performance, preparing reports for stakeholders, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder management and communications plans to meet project objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing defence infrastructure projects, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • PMQ Accreditation and NEC 3/4 accreditation are highly desirable.
  • SC clearance is preferred, but suitability for security clearance will be considered for non-clearance holders.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage large technical teams and senior client representatives.
  • Ability to identify and develop phased approaches to delivery, working collaboratively with clients to understand and agree project requirements.
  • Good practical application of Microsoft software, including Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools, including programmes, risk registers, and quality assurance plans.
