Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the financial management and delivery of our highway projects. As a key member of our team, you will provide commercial leadership and guidance, ensuring cost-effective delivery within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing and maintaining detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets
* Managing and negotiating contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers
* Monitoring project costs and identifying potential cost overruns
* Implementing effective cost control measures
* Preparing and analyzing cost reports and providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with relevant contractual and legal requirements
* Mentoring and guiding junior members of the Quantity Surveying team

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale highways or infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of highway construction principles and practices. Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills are essential, as well as proficiency in cost management software and tools.
