Job Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the highest standards of care and service, emphasizing individualized care approaches.
  • Conduct thorough planning and risk assessments to ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the effective functioning of quality control systems and perform quality assurance evaluations for clients.
  • Execute local audits, including medication management, and support the development and implementation of action plans based on findings.
  • Communicate any unresolved actions or trends to senior management, focusing on identifying recurring themes.
  • Continuously assess and enhance processes to guarantee the delivery of the most effective and efficient services.
  • Assist in managing complaints and incidents, conducting investigations related to service quality, and utilizing insights to drive improvements.
  • Prepare management reports for Directors and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement aligned with the organization's ethos and values.
  • Engage with the local community and utilize digital platforms to promote service awareness and support business growth.
  • Provide leadership and management support to department heads and key personnel, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective workload management.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Care Professionals and key team members.
  • Participate in disciplinary processes, including investigations and meetings, in accordance with company policies and HR guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures among all staff members.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data across all relevant systems.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and regulations affecting the industry.
  • Proactively identify personal development needs in line with business objectives and job responsibilities, taking timely action.
  • Ensure adherence to the organization's Equality and Diversity Policy in all employment and service delivery practices.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities necessary for the successful operation of the organization.

Required Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Level 3 certification in Leadership and Management.
  • Strong understanding of person-centered service delivery.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance and legislative requirements within Care Standards regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory quality assurance and auditing processes.
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of operational systems and processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire teamwork.
  • Motivation to undertake a broad role and develop care services.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care.
