Job Summary
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team of care professionals, delivering high-quality care and promoting dignity and choice for our residents.
- We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who will act as a role model, providing guidance and support to their team members and promoting a positive and caring attitude throughout the home.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medications, ensuring accurate administration and promoting the well-being of our residents.
- They will also be responsible for managing night rotas, ensuring that the home is fully staffed and that there is a good skill mix in place.
- The Senior Care Assistant will work closely with the home's management team to ensure that all concerns are dealt with promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of care professionals, promoting a positive and caring attitude throughout the home.
- Manage medications, ensuring accurate administration and promoting the well-being of our residents.
- Manage night rotas, ensuring that the home is fully staffed and that there is a good skill mix in place.
- Work closely with the home's management team to ensure that all concerns are dealt with promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Recent employed experience within elderly and dementia care.
- Previous experience of managing and leading a team, while building a good rapport with residents and other healthcare professionals.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
