Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia and other care needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring that the needs of individuals are met and that care is delivered in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Manage rotas to ensure that the care home is fully staffed and that there is a good skill mix among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with the care home's management team, ensuring that all concerns are dealt with quickly and promptly.
  • Be accountable and responsible for the quality of care, effective use of resources, and safety of the care home.
  • Act as a role model for the team and be an ambassador for the organization, leading on the effective implementation of the Vision and Values and business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Recent employed experience within elderly and dementia care.
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team, while simultaneously building a good rapport with residents and other healthcare professionals.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Minimum of one year employed experience as a Team Leader.
