About the Role

Carrot Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Trial Manager to join a leading clinical research provider in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is making significant contributions to the development of new treatments and therapies.

The Role

As a Senior Clinical Trial Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will work closely with the Clinical Services Director and CEO to achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in relation to patient recruitment, screening, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clinical trial operations, including trial planning, execution, and closure
  • Ensure compliance with GCP and company SOPs
  • Lead a team of clinical trial coordinators and other support staff
  • Develop and implement trial management plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the PI and Sub I, to achieve site KPIs
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in clinical trial coordination and operations, preferably in the UK industry
  • Line management experience and exceptional leadership skills
  • GCP training, with the ability to complete refresher training as needed
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with preparing for internal and external audits
  • Able to work collaboratively to achieve site KPIs
  • Proficient use of EDC systems
  • Excellent project management skills within clinical trial management
