KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a dedicated Account Manager at CoStar Group, you will uphold a strong ethical standard while managing, nurturing, and expanding your existing portfolio of clients.
  • You will have the freedom to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to sell, educate, and retain clients effectively.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of your clients and their requirements through a consultative sales methodology.
  • Become proficient in CoStar Group's marketing solutions, recognized as the premier online marketplace for commercial properties in the UK.
  • Take full ownership of the entire sales process, which includes prospecting, demonstrating, closing deals, onboarding, training, and renewing client accounts.
  • Conduct engaging in-person product demonstrations for clients and prospects.
  • Offer valuable insights to all stakeholders in the commercial property sector, including surveyors, property owners, investors, lenders, local authorities, and service providers.
  • Act as a representative of CoStar Group by participating in industry events and networking with property professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships over the medium to long term, delivering exceptional service and navigating sales cycles that can span several months.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and objection-handling abilities, with the confidence to articulate complex proposals clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to work towards metrics in a strategic and effective manner.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • A consultative selling approach complemented by account management techniques to foster long-term client growth. You enjoy building relationships and assisting clients in solving their challenges.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate or asset management is beneficial. Alternatively, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in market trends is essential.
  • Experience with property portals or marketplaces is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate within a large organization, identifying decision-makers, influencers, and potential blockers, and aligning them effectively.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
