Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Gap Technical Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work, and being proactive in the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the manufacturing process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensuring maximum focus is given to the nominated production area.
  • Fault find in an effective and efficient manner while utilizing the various machines' historic/information documentation.
  • Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist in major repairs.
  • Proactively reduce engineering downtime and continuously improve the process and the department.
Requirements
  • The successful candidate will ideally have completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship.
  • A background in Food/FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing will be a distinct advantage.
