Team Responsibilities

MSCI is actively seeking a Digital Workplace Support Engineer. The primary focus of this role is to assist our Windows 10/11 user base through the Service Now ticketing system.

Your responsibilities will include supporting your main facility while also providing remote desktop assistance to other regional facilities as needed.

Our teams are strategically positioned in 11 locations worldwide, providing support to over 30 sites in total.

Key Responsibilities

This role entails the installation and maintenance of office technologies (O365) for end users, including support for Outlook, Teams, the Office suite, remote connectivity, VPN, and the setup of laptops/desktops, printers, A/V conference systems, and other support needs.

  • You will engage with users on-site and provide remote support when they are working from home.
  • Participation in various projects as required will also be expected.
  • This position reports directly to the EMEA Operational Engineering lead.
  • The role offers flexibility, allowing you to work both from the office and remotely.
  • Timely and effective management of assigned tickets will be a key responsibility.
  • The ideal candidate will be dynamic, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with other teams.
Skills and Experience

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience in supporting a global Windows desktop environment, with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven expertise in all aspects of a Windows workstation environment (Windows 10, O365, Azure Active Directory, Teams/Zoom, Intune, modern desktop management, Autopilot, mobile management, Device as a Service, WiFi, VPN, collaboration and conferencing solutions, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), user profiles, and asset management).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with MacOS, Conditional Access Policies, networking services, PowerShell scripting, Digital Experience Monitoring, and Windows Virtual Desktop.
  • Relevant Microsoft or industry certifications and experience in the financial sector are advantageous.
