Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and contractors, providing a warm and welcoming experience. You will be responsible for managing appointments, queries, and requests, both in person and over the phone, using your excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients, visitors, and contractors in a polite and timely manner.
- Assist patients with appointments, queries, and requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Support clinical and non-clinical colleagues with requests, providing administrative support as needed.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Person Specification
Essential
- Good standard of general education.
- Good GCSE grades for English and Math's.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a GP surgery.
- Working with EMIS or other GP IT systems.
