Job Description

The CLR Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our Reactive Maintenance Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including general office procedures and tasks.
  • Lead Conversion and Management: Handle incoming maintenance leads, convert them into quotes, and manage the booking process.
  • Diary Management: Manage the diaries of our client's operatives, ensuring that their schedules are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Materials and Purchasing: Organize and manage the procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Cost Management: Ensure cost-effectiveness in our supply chain and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
  • Financial Management: Raise invoices and liaise with the finance team to ensure timely payment.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for existing and prospective clients, handling all general inquiries via phone and email.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience within a maintenance or contractor's environment is preferred.
  • Telephone Experience: Essential telephone experience is required.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized, approachable, and a great communicator.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in office-based systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle priorities.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Self-sufficient and diligent.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
Benefits
  • Basic Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Bonus Structure: Commission payable based on lead conversions.
  • OTE: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.
  • Pension: Company Pension Scheme.
  • Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Holidays: 20 days per annum, in addition to public bank holidays and birthday.
  • Line Manager: Head of Maintenance.
  • Location: Bankside, SE1.
  • Contract: Full-time and permanent.
