Operations Coordinator for Maintenance Services

As the Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the Reactive Maintenance Division of The CLR Group. Your leadership will be essential in managing a variety of responsibilities to ensure seamless operations. You will work autonomously in the office while also collaborating closely with field operatives, ensuring effective communication and well-organized schedules.
Your role will also involve managing incoming inquiries and transforming these into estimates and subsequently confirmed jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient daily operations of the department
- Handle general administrative tasks and office procedures
- Manage incoming maintenance requests and inquiries, achieving key performance indicators
- Prepare quotes and follow up effectively
- Schedule and confirm appointments for jobs
- Coordinate the schedules of field operatives
- Organize materials and manage purchase orders
- Ensure cost-effectiveness within supply chains
- Generate invoices and liaise with the finance department
- Act as the primary point of contact for current and potential clients, addressing all inquiries via phone and email
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a maintenance or contracting environment is preferred
- Strong telephone communication skills are essential
- Highly organized, approachable, and an excellent communicator
- Proficient in office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and diligent
- Flexible and adaptable as the role evolves with the company
The ideal candidate will be confident in discussing maintenance-related issues and ideally have some familiarity with boiler installations and services, as this is a key area of focus for our marketing efforts.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Bonus Structure: Commission based on successful lead conversions
On-Target Earnings: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
Pension: Participation in the Company Pension Scheme
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Holidays: 20 days per annum, in addition to public holidays and a birthday leave
Reporting Line: Head of Maintenance
Contract Type: Full-time and Permanent
Additional Holiday: Extra days granted for birthdays and Christmas (varies yearly).
Pension: Company contribution
