About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Chief Technician/Dispensary Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the dispensary, including staff training and assessment, and ensuring the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the dispensary team and ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the dispensary
  • Provide training and assessment for staff in dispensary operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust policies
  • Contribute to the development of the pharmacy service and improve patient care

Requirements

  • Significant post-qualification hospital pharmacy experience
  • Broad technical pharmaceutical knowledge
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
