About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at the Royal Free London Pharmacy. As Chief Technician/Dispensary Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the dispensary, including staff training and assessment, and ensuring the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the dispensary team and ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the dispensary
- Provide training and assessment for staff in dispensary operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Trust policies
- Contribute to the development of the pharmacy service and improve patient care
Person Specification
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences (NVQ Pharmacy services Level 3) or equivalent
- CPPE or equivalent ACPT qualification
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
