Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to fill the role of Chief Technician/Dispensary Manager at the Royal Free London Pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the staff and resources of the Outpatient Dispensary to provide a safe and efficient Pharmaceutical Service to patients and staff.

Main Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing and coordinating pharmacy dispensary services
  • Managing the day-to-day activities, training, and assessment of staff in the dispensary
  • Developing and maintaining SOPs within the area of service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant post-qualification hospital pharmacy experience
  • Broad technical pharmaceutical knowledge
  • Experience of expenditure reporting, audits, and SOP development
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
