About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at the Royal Free London Pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, training, and assessment of staff in the dispensary.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and coordinating pharmacy dispensary services
  • Managing the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the area of service
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient use of medicines
  • Training and supervising staff
  • Project management and operational management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
  • BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences (NVQ Pharmacy services Level 3) or equivalent
  • CPPE or equivalent ACPT qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Significant post-qualification hospital pharmacy experience
  • Broad technical pharmaceutical knowledge relating to the promotion of high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective use of medicines
