Supply Chain Planner Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our suppliers' capabilities and lead times to ensure accurate planning and maximization of supplier efficiency.
  • Plan, schedule, and expedite production of finished goods from overseas suppliers to achieve on-time, in-full availability of product from the warehouse.
  • Provide analysis of risks and costs associated with various supply scenarios to inform management decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales and suppliers to advise on product availability and expedite deliveries.
  • Make recommendations for performance improvement and implement changes to maintain and increase competitiveness.
  • Update systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date logistics information is available at all times.
  • Perform month-end review and reconciliation of finished goods and stock to maximize opportunities to ship and invoice goods to customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a planner position or similar role.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
