About the Opportunity
We are excited to announce a new opening within our Property Services Team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating significant property-related projects in compliance with Section 20 legislation.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage the various stages of each project, ensuring adherence to established timelines and project management principles.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with Homeowners, Landlords, internal teams, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison between departments including Administration, Property Services, Operations, and Finance.
- Ensure financial oversight of projects, including the management of contingency funds.
- Identify and communicate potential risks to the Head of Property, assisting in conflict resolution to ensure project success.
- Prepare detailed progress reports using MS Excel for the CEM Board.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as compiling work specifications, managing tender processes, and processing Purchase Orders.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Section 20 legislation and have experience in property-related projects. This position is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in project coordination, senior administration, or office management within the leasehold sector.
Your professional demeanor will be organized, methodical, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. You will demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges and maintain a keen attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for managing expectations at all levels, including Board level. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, is required.
