Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Speech Therapist to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist speech and language therapy support to infants and families on our neonatal units.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assess and manage early communication and feeding challenges associated with prematurity and health conditions in neonates.
  2. Work closely with neonatal consultants, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based care.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support infants and families.
  4. Conduct assessments, differential diagnoses, and management of dysphagia in neonates.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote a culture of excellence in neonatal care.
  6. Participate in resource management, strategic service development, and planning.
  7. Lead, monitor, develop, and appraise staff and learners.
