To enhance our Water team, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to join us. You will engage in water and infrastructure initiatives, which may encompass substantial civil works, micro-tunneling, subsurface structures, piping systems, supplementary water treatment facilities, and various water-centric projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting feasibility assessments and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Leading the development of conceptual designs
  • Supervising and contributing to the creation and delivery of calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and timelines
  • Reviewing design calculations and drawings produced by other engineers
  • Managing project activities, conducting site visits, and liaising with clients
  • Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are upheld through the Integrated Management System
  • Coordinating project delivery to meet deadlines and budget constraints while maintaining high technical quality and compliance with internal management protocols
  • Ensuring that designs, assessments, and verifications adhere to current Standards, Codes of Practice, and Best Practices

Additionally, you will possess:

  • A master's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
  • Achieved Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (MICE or equivalent)
  • Experience in a design environment focusing on water, utility, or civil engineering projects within the UK or internationally
  • Proficiency in Micro Drainage modeling, Civil3D, or other industry-standard modeling and design software
  • A diverse background in a design environment in the UK, covering various highways, rail, or civil infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with UK water industry, highway, or rail standards, along with a solid understanding of CDM Regulations
  • Project management experience
  • A valid UK driving license
