Innovate for a Sustainable Future

To enhance our Water division, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to contribute to our initiatives. You will engage in water and infrastructure projects that may encompass substantial civil works, micro-tunnelling, subterranean structures, piping systems, supplementary water treatment facilities, and various water-centric assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Facilitate the development of conceptual designs.
  • Supervise and contribute to the generation and delivery of calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Review design calculations and drawings produced by fellow engineers.
  • Engage in project management tasks, including site visits and client interactions.
  • Uphold quality, safety, and environmental standards through the Integrated Management System.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects while maintaining high technical quality and adherence to internal management protocols.
  • Confirm that designs, assessments, and verifications align with current Standards, Codes of Practice, and Best Practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
  • Attained Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status (MICE or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a design setting focused on water, utility, or civil engineering projects, both in the UK and internationally.
  • Proficiency in Micro Drainage modelling, Civil3D, or similar industry-standard modelling and design software.
  • A diverse background in design roles within the UK, covering highways, rail, or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with UK water industry, highway, or rail standards, alongside a solid understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Experience in project management.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
