About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Waste Treatment Design Team at Severn Trent Water. As a key member of our Capital Design and Delivery department, you will play a crucial role in managing individual projects to achieve technical solutions for Waste Treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake feasibility evaluation and assessment for projects during the early stages
  • Create and evaluate designs and specifications for tender through in-house design and consultant design teams
  • Prepare conceptual designs to create innovative and efficient solutions
  • Liaise with project stakeholders and build relationships with mid and senior leadership levels
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant field
  • Member of one of the engineering Institutions or actively working towards incorporated or chartered status
  • Experience in treatment processes with a mechanical background is beneficial
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
