Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at ACS Performance. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of electrical design tasks, including drawings, parts specifications, risk assessments, installation procedures, and calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design solutions meet legal, safety, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Project Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Design Engineers to deliver electrical design solutions.
  • Conduct vehicle surveys and provide on-site installation support.
  • Travel within the UK and potentially internationally to meet client and project requirements.
  • Participate in client design reviews, internal design reviews, and standards compliance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Experience in schematic and wiring diagram drawing production, preferably in Solid Edge software.
  • Proven track record of leading small teams in electrical design solutions from concept to installation.
  • UK-spec accredited degree in electronic and electrical engineering or similar, with chartership status with a recognized industry body.
  • Practical experience in field installation and fault finding.
  • Proficiency in Windows (10 or 11) and CAD systems, ideally Solid Edge.
